What VR headsets are supported?
Skyreal VR supports any VR headset compatible with SteamVR or OpenXR, including:

Do I need SteamVR?
Yes. Skyreal VR uses SteamVR (or a compatible OpenXR runtime) to interface with VR headsets. Ensure SteamVR is installed and your headset is detected before launching Skyreal VR in VR mode.
Can I use Skyreal VR without a VR headset?
Yes. Skyreal VR has a full desktop mode that allows you to navigate, manipulate parts, and use most features with a mouse and keyboard. VR mode is optional.
How do I set up Vive Trackers?

Pair each tracker with SteamVR via USB

Assign a unique role to each tracker in SteamVR's tracker management

What is a CAVE / Powerwall?

A Powerwall is a single large display showing stereoscopic 3D content

A CAVE is a multi-screen immersive room with stereoscopic displays on multiple walls
Both require the Cave Daemon installed on each rendering node, Deck for session management, and an nDisplay configuration file for screen layout.
Can I use custom input devices?
Yes. Skyreal VR supports custom input devices through VRPN (Virtual Reality Peripheral Network). You can configure custom button and axis mappings in the VRPN configuration file. Additionally, you can create custom .ini input files in the Skyreal VR/Config/Input directory.
What tracking systems are supported for CAVE?
Skyreal VR supports tracking through VRPN, which is compatible with most professional tracking systems including:
