Select All

When used, this command selects all of the objects in the simulation.

Deselect All

When used, this command deselects all currently selected objects.

Select Parent

When used, this command selects the parents of the currently selected objects.

Select Direct Hierarchy

When used, this command selects the direct hierarchy of the currently selected objects.

Select All Hierarchy

When used, this command selects the entire hierarchy of the currently selected objects.

Tips

  • Use Select All combined with other commands (such as Reset Parts Position) to quickly apply changes across the entire simulation.

  • Select Parent is helpful when you need to manipulate an assembly rather than an individual part.

  • Use Select Direct Hierarchy when you want to include only the immediate children of a selected object, and Select All Hierarchy when you need the full nested tree beneath it.
