FAQ — Installation & Administration

How do I install XR Center?

XR Center requires a server machine with ArangoDB installed. Follow the XR Center Installation guide for a step-by-step walkthrough covering database setup, SSL configuration, service installation, and agent configuration.

Can I run Deck without XR Center?

Yes. Deck can run in standalone mode without connecting to an XR Center server. In standalone mode, experiences and data are managed locally on the machine where Deck is installed.

What are the system requirements for Skyreal VR?

Skyreal VR requires:

  • Windows 10/11 (64-bit)

  • A VR-ready GPU (NVIDIA recommended)

  • At least 16 GB RAM (32 GB recommended for large models)

  • SteamVR or a compatible OpenXR runtime for VR mode

  • Unreal Engine [5.x — verify the exact version in the release notes] for editor experiences

How do I update Skyreal VR?

Updates are distributed through the Marketplace. If connected to XR Center, updates can be pushed to all users centrally. For standalone setups, download the latest installer from the support website or the Marketplace.

How do I manage licenses?

Licenses are managed through the support website by the company manager. The manager can assign, revoke, and monitor licenses for all users in the company. For CAVE/Powerwall setups, [Deck now handles license authentication for cluster nodes automatically.]
