Design Review

[This page describes how to use SKYREAL for design review workflows. Content is based on the platform's capabilities and typical design review scenarios.]

What is a Design Review in SKYREAL?

A design review in SKYREAL allows you to visualize your CAD models at real scale in an immersive VR environment. Multiple stakeholders can review the same product simultaneously, identify issues, annotate parts, and make design decisions collaboratively.

Typical Workflow

  1. Import your CAD into CAD Forge and create an experience.

  2. Launch Skyreal VR and load your experience.

  3. Navigate around your product using VR or desktop controls.

  4. Inspect parts — Use the Product Tree to show/hide components, isolate parts, or check metadata via Part Properties.

  5. Take measurements — Use the Measure tool to verify dimensions and clearances.

  6. Create section cuts — Use Cutting Geometry to inspect internal details.

  7. Annotate — Place annotations on parts to flag design concerns or notes.

  8. Collaborate — Start a collaborative session so remote team members can join the review.

  9. Capture screenshots for documentation.

  10. Save and export — Save your simulation and use Back to CAD to push changes back to your CAD software.
